High School As A BubbleThis is a featured page

There really is nothing that out does High School I think. I remember reading some sort of article about High School where we are truly the most free we'll ever be. And, for us, I think that was right and for me, I've often thought of the heavy issues that we face in life, i. e., racial issues, etc., still we were pretty removed from it and life was good. I love the memories.
And, it will be great to see those who come to the reunion. I've stayed fairly committed to several or at least commoed over the years with them and travelled back to Dunn with a good bit of regularity. With our 50th, what is our future? Maybe we can stay in touch through email. I wish I could figure out a way to incorporate the comments from our Annual (The Echo).

I can report that the Reunion was absolutely fantastic. It could not have been better. Thanks to so many who made it happen.

Found some old pictures yesterday. Becky and I spent some time looking at
them and decided to have them at the reunion. Lots of pics of
football and football parties. Remember the parties after football season?
You are in alot of them. Also found one of you, Becky, Larry, Janet Hodges, Ray
Taylor & Ann Lee. Looks like you were all at the fair. Very
cute. One of senior football players at party. Sad when thought of
ones missing now, but then Ithought of all the fun we had in our lives and
how grateful we all are to have grown up in Dunn. How we lived in a
bubble. Absolutely.
